Working with Shobha from Prabha petals was really great from the beginning. She was such a nice understanding woman who knew her flowers! She took time out at our first meeting to show us various weddings that she had done just to give us some ideas about potential centerpieces. She was extremely professional during all of our meetings and paid careful attention to understand the look I was going for with the arrangements and the venue. Shobha even created a sample centerpiece for me to see so I could have a feel for what the flowers would look like on the big day. When I saw the arrangement, it wasnt exactly what I envisioned so we had another meeting to mull over ideas about different ideas for centerpieces. She was very kind and gracious throughout this whole process. She really took time to understand my taste, and even took time to teach me about different flowers. Once we finally decided on the two arrangements, she did a spectacular job in making the centerpieces. I received so many compliments with regards to the flowers on my wedding and continue to receive compliments after the fact. Guests were so happy to take home the flowers after the reception because they were so beautiful! Her flowers were great quality and last a long time. She was so worried about the bridesmaids bouquet and boutonnieres because we were taking pictures all day and she did not want them to die in the middle of the day. she actually made my groom two boutonnieres in case it wilted! She was present at the hall to make sure everything looked perfectly and it did. it was truly breathtaking to see her work and vision come to life. She is a precious gem in the suburbs who makes amazing arrangements. She should definitely be used for your next event. you wont regret it! We cannot thank her enough for allowing our vision become a reality!

I met Shobha on a wedding expo a few months prior to my wedding date (5/26/13). I was immediately impressed by the arrangements she had on display. I immediately imagined them at my venue. I emailed her that same night and she promptly responded to set up an appointment.

At the time of the appointment, Shobha kindly suggested items that were within my budget (which were very reasonable prices) and that also tied in with my colors and classic theme of my wedding, lavender. Shobha was very knowledgeable on the kinds of flowers and presentation that would be best for my wedding.

Prior to my wedding, she contacted me to confirm on all the items I had chosen. She promptly informed and advised me on the availability on some of the flowers. We had ample time to make other choices that I would be happy with. Shobha even included Dahlias in my bouquet (my name is Dalia), which made it that more special!!

Shobha was a pleasure to work with and I was impressed by the final products. She is very talented and professional. I ordered my bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, centerpieces, bouttainnaires, a special floral arrangement for the Virgin Mary, and a special bouttainnaire for my husband with a dahlia in it :-)

The flower arrangements Shobha prepared for our wedding reception were amazing!  We were extremely pleased with all the arrangements and received many compliments from our guests.  Shobha was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process.  Not only did she take time in the beginning to understand our event – the details of the venue, the ambiance we wanted to create, and the style we had in mind for the flowers  – she also spent a lot of time with us planning the design and materials (flowers, containers) for each arrangement (6 styles in total).  Shobha even created a sample of each arrangement, which we viewed a month before the event, so that we could view them live and make any additional modifications before she finalized the orders for the materials.  On the day of the event, she personally delivered and managed the placement of the arrangements and did not leave until everything about the arrangements was complete. The results were gorgeous and created the exact look and feel we envisioned.
